So, on Sunday the boyfriend and I cleaned house and moved the plants back outside for the winter. Shockingly enough, it needed cleaning rather desperately. And once the apartment (okay, the living room and kitchen, but that's a lot) was clean, he said something about airing out the house.
And then we bemoaned the climate here in the desert. We wanted very much to open the apartment back up, but it was almost certainly too hot. But! We'd moved the plants outside! Where it was only, like, ninety-eight degrees!
We had a little moment of daring. Do you want to turn off the air conditioning? Do you?
And then we did it. We turned off the air conditioner. On Sunday.
And we haven't turned it back on. Because we're stupid. Apparently. It's not that bad, really. Sleeping is bad. And we're doing more of the dare business. Do you want to shut the windows and turn it back on? Do you??
